Power Window Switches

I'm new to the world of Mustangs, I hope this is the right section to be asking questions.

Where did Ford locate the power window switches in the 71-73 fastbacks? The front door cards I presently have in the car are not the correct ones for a Mach 1.
I don't have any f/b in toowoomba to look at to check.

thanks

Bluemach

Thanks 72mac1 - It looks like ford located the switches pretty much where the  winder handles would have gone.

I guess that saves me cutting up the console.

I'm in the process of ordering new door cards from the states - I can get them with or without holes for the winders. I can use the winder holes to mount the switches.

regards,

Rod

The switch is actually mounted on the frame work of the door, then the
door card is fitted over that and held in place with the bezel + 2 retainer
clips, is yours a factory power window optioned car

No, unfortunately my mach wasn't optioned with p/windows.
I have little interest in originality - so I'm intending to fit an after market kit.

The rear internal panels were badly oxidised, and I've just had them recovered in vinyl. I'm intending to get new front door cards from the states while our dollar is high. No one seems to stock 71-73 mach 1 door cards in Oz.
