4 into 1 headers, twin 3" up to & including mufflers, 2.5" tailpipes, X pipe or Pacemaker merge pipe. Depends on if you are working the heads, cam, etc & portmatching the manifolds too suit. Injection or carby. If it is only going to be a slightly warm 347 stroker then twin 2.5" will be fine. You've got to think of what sort of driving you want to do.:burnout:

I got a set of JBA stainless headers for my 347w, [66 coupe]  they have 1.3/4' pipes an a 3' collector, will also be using a Magnaflow X pipe, I'm thinking of a 3' stainless system for my car...
My motor is a little on the warm side, should clear 500hp at the flywheel...
With enough Time and Money almost anything is possible

those jba's....have you fitted them up as i have been through 3 sets of pipes and not one fitted properly.... i have just modified a set of shorties which are 1 5/8" with 3" collector.... i made 450hp with 430ft pd torque... will a 2 1/2" be enough or do i go twin 3"... wanted a set of full length headers but all of them hung too low under the car and i had bugger all clearance as car sits about 70mm lower than stock... thats the only reason i have opted for shorties.... dont want  spend 2k to custom make a set of pipes....

I recently installed a 2.5" S/S magnaflow system #15815 They also do 3"... "Exhausted" put me on to a guy who supplied a set of 1.5" pace makers that actually fit. (thanks again for that) They are on my 347 and sound unbelivable! You will not be dissapointed.

I got the complete exhaust system (not headers) from the US. A$700  landed in perth from a company called tobys autos (i think) check Ebay. Aussie price was between $1000-1200

To suit '65 -'66                     2.5"  system   15815,  3" system  15817
To suit '67 - '70                   2.5"  system   15816,  3" system  15819
None of these system will fit a convertible without  slight modifications to centre pipes to clear support plate.
Australian supplier for Magnaflow is Super Cat Converters Pty Ltd / Melborne Steel Company.

A$700 delivered to front door. I used a US post box. Ebay price is around $520 shipping $180. I thought it was tobys but after searching i couldnt find either... plenty of others have for similar price. Set up a US post box for cheap shipping on most stuff (not all)

 I run 1 5/8" primary 4 into 1 3" collector with a twin 2 1/2" mandrel bent exhaust.

I have run 11.22 with this hooked up and 11.21 best with the exhaust dropped at the collector.

So it seems my twin system is not holding the engine back at all.
347 engine dynoed at 486hp. Mph over the 1/4 pretty much agrees.

I would have tried these 1 3/4" tubes if I hadn't already bought the ones I have.

 The whole setup looks impressive..
