Son of the year !

I must admit about 10 years ago I was looking at buying my Dad a new Calais as he loved Holdens and never owned a new car , but before I pulled trigger on it the bottom fell out of the stock market and I took a royal ass-beating, so it never happened. I imagine he would have been a sobbing mess.

Ah well, the intention was there.

Cheers,
Frank.

This is very close to home for me

My father has Leukemia and has been winning the battle for the past 9 years he was given 4-5 years when I was 16

He got his mustang in Feb this year and I decided to surprise him and buy one too so we could build them together in order to go cruising together !

Dad has his fathers car that he restored also I never met my Grandfather he passed before I was born but dad got his TE Gemini that he had just bought before he passed back from his sister and restored it and would never part with it for quids

It is funny how us car people see them as more than just metal for me building our cars together has been the best time we have ever spent and is keeping his spirits high!

Can't wait to get it finished and enjoy it ! They need to have overhaulin here in Aus!!
