My current steering column has two brackets welded to the tube that line up (somewhat) with the holes under my dash, and when it all bolts together the column is solid and the brackets under the dash along with the one to the firewall all firm up.
It is not stock.
Now, I am about to install another column, and it has no brackets for attachment at the dash.
So, the question is, does anyone know where I can get a mounting bracket that will wrap around my new column, and bolt up snug under my dash?
I have seen in a shop drawing what looks to be the stock mount, and I believe that would work, depending on stock tube diameter. The new tube is 57mm in diameter.
