ok just got my 2nd  mustang and its what the guy said it would be and more ,was in the shed in usa for 25 years and now its in my drive way ,the only rust is the fuel tank ,bottom of the back quarters normal places. every thing ells is perfect and no bog YAH








Now every one knows the convertible that i got that was nothing what the owner said it was but iam doing it as well and trying to get some money back from him as well
 
here are some pics of it




now for the fast back, this is what's installed for it
new bumpers
new fuel tank,( the only big rust in the car)
new exhaust
new interior
new steel for the patches
new paint
new wheels
new chrome
new power steering
new aircon



now for the convertible

new everything :wacko:
new floor and i mean whole floor with rails
new front rails
new interior
new paint
new quarters
new patches for the front guards
new soft top
new bumpers
some new chrome

ill post pics of it as much as i can

some parts come today from cjpony and some work started on the fastback ,the vert has been put on a back burner ill start it when all the parts get to me

fastback has been striped down and i started to rub it back

Nice to see u decided to go the long haul with both of them.
Looks like u have made a good start, judging by the parts.
Hope it all goes well with the rebuilds.
Will watch with interest.

there is still 12 more box on there way should be here next week and then there should two more shipment that should start its way to me this week

Sounds like you have a lot of work ahead of you, you should be an expert after you have finished both cars :thumb:

dlnqnt, The fastback looks to be a good basis for a resto. Well done.
A bare metal respray and some patch panels on the rear quarters will have the body looking schmick.
Have you had a good look underneath yet?

yea looked under, no rust at all just doing the boot at the moment so i can save some money

4 more box's turn up today with the carpet,sill panels,dash pad ,and other small bits , hopefully the rest of the 8 box's will come tomorrow

went to the classic ford club on sunday as there is no mustang club here ,wish there was as i wanted to meet some older guys that know there stuff around the old cars ,you can all ways learn from old guys if u want to learn

ok some more work done on the fastback ,took it to a work shop an took the motor out but did find more rust in left hand floor nothing big ,all in a easy place to get to.sorry for the pic's used my phone

 


motor out and will be rebuilt

Friday the fastback go's to the soda blaster now i know why there is no mustang club here as it cost an arm and leg $2500 for the whole car to be soda blasted thats nt for ya
