Hi All,

some of you may no im searching for a 65/66 coupe, im aiming for one with red pony trim. my question is, as im new to mustangs (not to car builds in general) im unaware of contacts and the whos who off everything just yet..
So if i brought one without the red trim, and i wanted to convert it,
how much would it cost?
were can i source a complete interior dash etc?
is there remake stuff for trim dash etc?
who does it, at a competitive price?
any other info would be appreciated, seems to be hard to find when your looking but when your not ... oh look 10 available,

Could you be more specific

price? and everything .. carpet, dash,, trim, stainless, wheel, roof lining etc etc, was that genuine or remake stuff?

Yes they had everything .....Dash, interior trim, carpet , door trims, mouldings etc......some was original Ford tooling and the rest was reproduction . Make a list of what you need and give them a call or even try one of the sponsors on here such as Mustangs of Melbourne , or EastCoast Mustangs etc etc........You can virtually buy everything you need for a resto these days .

Price will depend on what you actually need, and if they have it in stock etc .... It depends if you want a new console, guages etc........ but as a ball park figure , a new full interior ,you will get change out of $5000....cheers

If it`s just the seat upholstery, you would be looking around the $500 mark plus seat foams and the full pony door trim is around the $700 mark......Then you still have the dash , glove box, sunvisors , kick panels, windlacing, headling, carpet, sill plates,etc,etc

its good to know this now so i can weigh that up in purchasing,

Still alot easier to buy one with the red trim already but as mentioned above, hard to find the complete package im after at present, so its good to work all this out now, it will be my dream final car, so i want to get it and have the things i want exactly or make it my own

We have most of the interior parts in stock, if not in stock, they aren't usually far off.
