tyre sizes and alignment specs

i have a set of 14 x 6 rims....
i know origuinal specs call for 185/75/14
currently i have 215/65 on the rear...
205/70 on the front ..is the best combination or is there some other suggestions...

Before any suggestions can be given what type of car do you have.
Have now converted the other half into doing some of the Concours washin, cleaning & polishing stuff!!!!!!!!

a 66 coupe....
warm 289 c4 auot  lowered about 2" though do not know proper height...
actually thinking of resetting back springs to a better height...

I recently read an article in Mustang Monthly and they say they would go as large as 16x8 wheels with 41/2 inch back spacing and 225/50R16 all round or 245/50's for the back.

I hope this helps but the best person I would to speak is your local tyre guru.
