ha ha ha guys you gave me a good laugh
I had to make up a dolly as I realised this was going to take some time and I wasnt prepared to keep crawling under the car when it was only on jacks.....as you can see from the above pics this is going to be a full restoration once you start peeling back the layers you only find more rust hidden, chassis rail is cracked and bent both sides, check out the boot we are going to have to replace the whole rear end, trunk floor both sides
rear quaters r & l, rear tail light panel, rebuild brakes, master cylinder, floor pans, battery tray, radiator support panel, lh front fender, shockers, steering wheel, upholstery, coil spring perch, seat tracks and springs
I put one of the doors into get sandblasted just to see what it turned out like and we are really happy with the results so we will put the other door in this week and then the unibody will go in in August...I can recommend them to anyone who is looking for sandblasting only costs approx $50 per door and it didnt damage the embossed metal on the inside of the door so really happy with that. Things are progressing slowly as money permits dont think it will be on the road this year but you never know we may just win the lotto next week with $30 mill I could order one of everything from the catalogue ......lol
