Can anyone give me and idea as to what I need to buy where and how much it would cost to convert my 66 coupe to front disc brakes. cheers

Try M O M up in the top banner for what you need.

Ventilated Falcon rotors are the go with adaptors for Commodore (gulp) calipers. Mine stops on a button.

You will likely need an engineer's certificate if you go non standard.  
Standard setups are available brand new.
