Peter invited me to the April letsgocruisin night at Mornington.

The weather was fine, the cars looked terrific and a great time was had by all.

Thanks Peter, see you at the next event.

Hope you like these photos I took.

I also took a video but can't figure out how to include it.

ajaye01, I have been a member of LGC for over 5 years now (Member #1) and have had a ball with them.
There are quite a few from MOCA Vic who are also members of LGC.
It's a huge club with 550 + members and the mix of vehicles is superb.
Now that I live in Sale I can't get to as many of their shows/cruises as I used to but did go to Phillip Island Historics.
It's a great family club with a pre 1975 flavour that we all love to death.
Hope you get a lot of enjoyment from LGC just like hundreds of others have! Love your pics. :fantastic:

Peter, the biggest Cruise to display your car at  Mornington is definitely the Pre-Christmas/Santa Cruz with somewhere around 550+ Chrome bumper classics spilling into all available car spots at the Lifestyle centre. This is a massive affair with heaps of entertainment for everyone and masses of prizes and awards.
Put The Santa Cruz into your diary for later in the year.:thumb:

Hey Peter,

Jeezz the month went quickly!!!

Count me in if the weather's good.

I just also spoke to Tom, my neighbour who will join  us if he can get it past the MRS.  (He's got a goergeous white '64 1/2 vert).

I'll leave Brighton at 4:00 and be at the corner of Seaford & Nepean Hwy at close to 4:30.

Anyone who wants to join us from the Brighton area is welcome.

See you then,

Anthony.

Yep, last night at Mornington was sensational, really, I don't understand why more of our member don't join us, it's truelly a great opportunity to go for a drive down to Mornington and to meet fellow car nuts.  I guess we'll just have to keep spreading the news.

It was also great to meet both Tom (the white '641/2) and Terry (the light blue '66) who were both first timers to the cruise.

Below are some of the photos I took.

I've also posted a short video clip I took on youtube... I'll send you the link when I figure the whole youtube thing out.

Hope you like the photos...

Anthony.

At some of the warmer weather LGC cruises/displays there has been 20 or more Ponies attend.
The next big one is The Mid Winter Cruise to Healesville.
Don't miss it if you can help it.
Its a sensational cruise there, in convoy, from initially Mornington, then Bayswater.
A truly sensational day with a nice long convoy all the way there.:thumb:

Peter, glad you guys are enjoying LGC which is a great club with something like 650-700 members now.
Why don't you put up the time and exact place for your cruise from Seaford. I know of a couple of newly registered Mustangs that might be interested. I am aiming to get there too, but timing may be astray for your cruise, for me.
The LETSGOCRUISIN' SANTA CRUZ is one thing all owners should get to, even if a little later than all the early birds that turn up.
This is massive and is certainly an opportunity to see 6 or maybe 700 Chrome bumper era cars at one spot with all the X-mas stuff happening as well. Huge displays, car stuff for sale, club merchandise, kids entertainment, special displays, raffles, prizes, food, drink, Santa, and all those "special" vehicles including stuff you will never see registered on the roads. NOT TO BE MISSED.

Hi Johnno.

I have cruised up a few times with Peter.

His factory is the meeting place which is in Hi-Tech Place just off Hartnett Drive in Seaford. Its at the end of H-Tech place , just on the right - should see some Muzzys there.

Might let Peter confirm the departure time is 5:00pm.

I will hopefully be there.

Cheers,
Frank.

Yeah Frank, I have been to Peters factory and would love to start my cruise with you guys from there, but may not get away in time as I have a split system being installed that morning. Hope to see you guys if not at Seaford then at Mornington.

I have listed LGC details on my other thread.
