Questions on Importing from USA to NSW

I have been researching importing a classic American car to Aus when I move back later this year and have a few questions. Particularly regarding "vehicle modifications"  under the "pre 1989 import scheme.

The car in question is my 66 Mustang Coupe.

I know the engine/gbox/diff are all supposed to be within factory specification. Does anyone know if things like wheel diameter, exhaust, seat belts (3 point instead of 2) and brakes (disk vs drum) need to be original specification?

Any help appreciated :)

As far as I know you shouldn't have a problem. There are people on this forum that have a better handle on it than me but you should be OK.

They should be fine.  You can check the AOMC or DOTORS website will have more info on whats allowed.
