Hi matey ... Welcome to the forum...
In my unqualified opinion, why would you assume that mustangs were made in RHD here in Australia?

They were a US only model with a small cottage industry to convert as needed...
Each converter used their own imagination to do the conversion...

There were some mustangs which were designated as Australian delivery over the years but I believe even these were not done inhouse at Ford here in Oz...

To top it off, the 2nd gen Mustangs are almost non existent here anyway...???

Hi & Welcome 1980rustang

You could send Craig Dean at Mustang Motorsport an email and he may to answer some of your questions.  Craig has been converting Mustangs for 20+ years.

Herman
Have now converted the other half into doing some of the Concours washin, cleaning & polishing stuff!!!!!!!!

My 84 is RHD and I understand that in the conversion Ford Cortina rack & pinion steering parts and box are used. Not sure if origianl arms, tie rods etc are retained. (all done before I bought it). Tickford didnt do these models at Campbellfield.

Rustang, welcome...from afar.

There are a few blokes in here that might be able to help.

Do you have some pics which might be able to help them out to match your conversion and parts needed?
