My sister lives in Cairns; she reckons there is a pretty good chance her house will be gone by the time this is over. Let's hope Yasi will be kind to most.

Hey guys, just got back from work in time (10hr drive) to batten down the hatches with the family for this one.  Went through Larry which was bad now this one.  Winds are already picking up here significantly in Innisfail.   Can only hope the mussie will survive at a mates shed further inland.  Best of luck to all the mustang owners in the region.

Your a brave man for sticking around in predicted 300Kph winds!!!!!!!!!!!! I would've had my tail between my legs & outta there at 1st light this morning. I wish you both the very best of luck & good health(Kiwi & Flameman). Very scary!
Regards ,

I hope everyone is safe up there.

That cyclone looks so scarey.

I have very fond memories of Cairns being born there.

A few prayers from down here for the safety of all.

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the Duct Tape.
