Ok you lot, who owns this beast?  We found it on the jalopnik site in the states.  Apparently this car resides here.....

"They do things differently down under. That's why this 1965 Ford Mustang from Australia is powered by a heavily modified four liter turbocharged straight six engine from a Ford Falcon. Watch this odd pony run a 9.96 ¼ mile."

I have seen this car out and about, on its way to Calder Park raceway. Don't know the owners.

Yeah I've seen it go too. It's very, very quick! Has a beautiful interior too. Might be at Knox City this Tuesday nite for the Cruise in. Has been there before.

Very well presented car, I've seen him at Knox a couple of times.

Makes me think of all the 6 cyl verts I passed on.

but the mustang keeps getting whooped down the line many times ..

Looking at the reaction times, he's being handicapped...i.e delayed start.
Look at the final ET's and speeds.

....i know nought about dragging lol...

It isn't head's up racing at street meets, you're really only racing against the clock- timer starts from when you cross the start line.

A very nice car and pretty cool...

Make's all the exotic so called 'Super Cars' look pretty lame, and from a 'humble' Six Cylinder...:burnout:

Cheers,
