Autolite 1100 Carby off 6 Cylinder

From a Club Member:

I have a 68 mustang , six clyinder with an autolite 1100 carby. The current carby does not have a vacuum advance spark control valve. What would happen if I put on a similar carby that does have this valve.

Also do you know where I gan get a detailed exploded view of this carby...maybe on the web?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
