Just got back from 10 days in San Francisco where I had a 2007 Mustang as a hire car from Hertz.

Loved it & drove 1200k's in 9 days to Nth & Sth Cal.

Saw a 2005/6? Mustang at a car lot for US$18 000!!

What would importation + RHD conv. cost?

Wot a car...didn't want to give it back!!
Any going to be in ACT Sunday?
C U there!!

Cheers

Well I just booked it thru the qantas book to start with, say 4 months before travel, about AUS$100 per day.
Originally ordered drop-top but ended up with hard-top which looks heaps better & it rained solid for 4 days anyway!!
Yeah push for the pony, they have heaps, I even rang Hertz at SFO from Oz to be sure I got one!!

Good Luck

Cheers

If you are driving your Pony then we have reserved a parking spot on the lawns adjacent to the show itself.  Your car will be a lot safer on the lawn than in a parking lot.  Just drive where the "Display" cars enter and tell them you are a Day Tripper and you will be directed to the lawn spot.

Enjoy the day. Forecast: Fine, 21 degrees.

Hey Dreemer your prob looking at about 25-30k for a good mirror conversion. also transport cost, g s t, import tax, engineer and rego, dollar conversion it all adds up to big money either way u go.

My new 2007 GT coupe arrives late april early may.

Either way have a good one.
