Sandown V8 Supercars 21st November 2010

On a perfect day in Melbourne a number of Mustang convertibles had the opportunity to take the top 10 Australian Drivers on a parade lap around the Sandown circuit prior to todays race.

It was a great pleasure to see such greats as Alan Moffatt, Jim Richards, Norm Beechey, Dick Johnson, Ian Goeghan, Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup.

Unfortunately I was not able to photograph these great drivers in the Mustangs as I was busy driving!

Must be a bit of a mix up as Ian (big Pete) Geoghegan sadly passed away about 7 years back.

You're right 66 Red Rag Top, I was writing straight after my discussions over the afternoon with Mustang Drivers in the pits, his name was fresh in my mind. Peter Brock was represented by his son James in the parade, I'm not sure who represented Ian Goeghan.
