Spot weld

Been looking around for some ideas on drilling out spot welds on panels and some say to use a spot weld drill bit and some say normal bit will do? Where is a good place to get a spot weld bit and how much would I be looking at to buy? Thanks in advance

Hi 65coupe,

Try 'Blackwoods' or Auto One if you have them within your area/suburb.

The last time we had used one, I think they came in at around the $45 + mark...

just the 3 but in hindsight I would have ordered an additional 3. I suppose it depends on how many spot welds you have to do
