'66 Mustang diff vent bolt

I have a standard Mustang diff and require the vent bolt that also locates the brake hose into the pumpkin. I believe there are 2 sizes  - long and short , i already have the short but a new brake hose has arrived that now requires the long - anyone got one hanging around or know where i can get one? And are they really necessary?
