WINDSCREEN BANNER
« on: September 17, 2010, 09:56:40 am »
A few weeks back there was a post about a few members who went out to Eastern Creek, amongst the photos posted was this one.....

I am interested in finding out about these windscreen banners. I cant quite make out the last word, it looks to read Mustang Owners Club...........Australia.

If it is not state specific ...ie. NSW, QLD etc...I guess all MOCA clubs could use & display these at car events...
Are they readily available......What a great way for MOCA to get high profile exposure.  Regards Dale

My thoughts were if our clubs were to have 30-40 cars parked alongside each other wearing such an item at shows etc on a regular basis it would look awesome.......I am am sure our club here in Adelaide wouldn't take much persuading to get a heap.........:thumb:

They are available from the NSW Club @ $50 each banner - yes, seems expensive but that price is pretty well the cost without any mark up.

The picture shown above is Keiths late model and he is also the Stock Controller for NSW (02) 9875 3593 after 6pm but keep the times reasonable please.

This item is not showing on the NSW Merchandise site.

Try these for a better view perhaps:

:agree:

Hi Guys, I'll add my support to this idea also.  I have been to different displays where an Illawarra (read Wollongong) car club have all their cars together and all displaying windscreen banners naming the club.  This promotes club membership, presents very well to the public, and lets people know who you are if they want to make contact.

I guess $50 does initially sound a bit steep, but I spose it is what it is.  Maybe with sufficient interest, the banners can be produced to suit individual states.

For a club ( any club ) to purchase 50 or 60 or so, I think it is a bit steep............hard to see a club going for that. I would expect they are cloth & as such would have a long life. I was hoping for them to be a bit more reasonably priced. Maybe some of the forum members may be able to come up with a cheaper alternative...............cheers Dale
