Windscreen washer jets for 73
« on: September 16, 2010, 09:17:05 pm »
Can somebody post a picture of where the windscreen washer jets are located. Mine has the fluid reservoir but no jets. I am assuming that they are in the back of the bonnet but not really sure.

Thanks
Steve

Does anybody know if any of the Aussie Falcons use the same jets?

That's a great arrival Jimniki!
Those jets aren't reproduced by any supplier I know, and are completely different to any Aussie car I know. The earlier mustangs are similar to falcon, but are cheaper to buy for mustangs!

Steve, these on ebay from Mustangs unlimited:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1971-1973-FORD-MUSTANG-COUGAR-WINDSHIELD-WASHER-NOZZLES-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem19bff7cae3QQitemZ110594869987QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Only problem I've found with Mustangs Unlimited though is when I asked for a shipping quote they wanted to charge me $65 postage to send over three panel script emblems, which was a rip off.

Or these a bit dearer from my current preferred supplier Ohio Mustang Supply:

http://www.ohiomustang.com/store/order_page.asp?itemid=2425

Bought a couple of shipments of parts from them recently, and both times they have told me actual shipping costs came in less than they quoted and refunded me the difference through Paypal.

If you did want to buy them through Ohio Mustang Supply (and assuming you are registered with Paypal) you can ask Don at donwitt@ohiomustang.com for a quote. If the shipping quote pricing is acceptable to you you let him know you want them and he then emails an invoice from Paypal. You click on the "pay now" button in the email - paypal sends the money and your part arrives about eight days later.

+1 for me too...
I've bought lots from Don but found the costs a bit prohibitive.
They (OHIO) stock many hard to get parts...

I have just ordered a set from Mustang Auto Parts at Bulimba for $26.00. Should be coming in about three weeks.
