There's a huge carpark next to O-Zone. If you're heading east, I think it's the last driveway on the left. Go to the end of the road & you'll hit the entrance. There's a gold coin donation required to enter.

Is that the big fenced carpark?

Do they cruise anywhere, or is it more a static display?

They have a static display but I am told later in the evenings some of them often do go on a bit of a cruise somewhere.
Yes its in the big fenced area that you mentioned.

"Hi All,
Yes This great place to meet and chat while looking at some of the nicest collection of cars in the melbourne area is back on again.
The Cruise night will be fired back up for the summer season again
Remember no hoons
Everyone welcome,
Food and beveridges available
This year we are going to allow Trade Stands that are wanting to set up, (contact me if you are interested)
We will also be allowing people to have a boot sale swap meet, so if you have things you want to sell (presumably car parts) we will be allocating an area up on the grass for this.
This will hopefully also give people more to do and see
It will be as per usual,
Starts about 5.30 to 6pm and goes until people want to stay
We are making it a Gold Coin Donation PER PERSON this year to help the charity grow!

Cloud increasing. Isolated showers in the early afternoon, increasing to areas of rain during the afternoon. The chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Winds northerly averaging up to 30 km/h.

The weather predictions aren't always right (I hope!) so far today looks just about perfect.

I'll have my car at work for the day, I'm only a few minutes away, if it looks okay at the time I'll head down, if not I'll look forward to next month!

There's a hell of a band of heavy rain on the radar coming thru!:cry:

Well, I checked the radar this arvo, the rain looked like it was a while away, so I went!

I got there at about 5.45, there were dark clouds visible in the west. I had to wait 2 changes of the lights turning into Knox, and that's when the rain decided to come, not too heavy at first, I made it into the covered carpark to get the top up then on to the event.

There were a couple of dozen cars there, several hot rods, chevs etc and 1 other Mustang, a nice looking orange 65 with a very interesting turbo 6.

Anyway the rain started in earnest so I headed home and just beat the downpour.

I now have a few leaks identified for attention!

I look forward to better weather on the next night.

That 65 was at Calder, and I think it ran 10.18.... Serious stuff indeed!

There is another show on tomorrow night in Cranbourne at the soccer ground in Cemetary Rd. Melways 133 G7:rub:
This one is run by the Classic & Rod club.
Am considering.....depends on weather again.
Doesn't sound too promising however.:toetap:

Should also mention that for those who might be interested, Fountain Gate- Krispy Kreme Donut store hosts an early morning show on Sunday 17th from 7am to around 10 am.

Orange mustang was just on Gasoline tonight.

65 Mustang, AU turbo 6, Staight LPG, Ran 10.2

Sounded awesome running down the straight!!!!
