Apparently there will be a new magazine (Australian Mustang and Ford) hitting the news stands later this month. Will be interesting to see what it's like!

From what I hear, it will be great. We have placed an ad in it, and there will be a buildup of a wicked 69 Resto-Mod.

Doesn't have much information in it at the moment, it's only just starting up and is mainly propsecting for advertising at this stage. I found out about this from a bloke at work who's best mates with the guy who's behind it's concept.

We're the team behind the new magazine and I am proud to inform you that a new Ford magazine will be hitting the stands shortly.

We caught wind of this forum post through a mate so we thought we'd include some information to wet your appetite:

Early October 2010 will see AUSTRALIAN MUSTANG & FORD MAGAZINE (AM/FM) hit the stands. The decision to publish this title was generated by the positive feedback from both customers and my many long term associates who highlighted the gap in the marketplace.

The magazine will encompass the ever-evolving Mustang scene here in Australia as well as all the local born and bred Ford material. I am excited to be involved in the first periodical title produced in Australia to focus on Mustangs and I look forward to continuing my involvement in the local Ford scene.

We have already engaged the top photographers in Oz to bring you visually stunning images of the great Mustangs and Fords built by you guys. The creative input is a mix of familiar and new names all of who will bring something unique to the pages you read. “AM/FM” will be proudly printed in Australia and will thus provide the most up-to-date news and events from the Blue Oval World.

There is a great excitement from all those involved as Issue 1 spectacularly comes together and we foresee a bright and positive future for the title. We hope you enjoy the first issue and eagerly await your feedback to assist us in giving you the best mag available. AM/FM will be distributed throughout Australia and N.Z.

Good luck with your mag, I'll be on the lookout for a copy when it hits the stands.

To post photos look on the front page of this forum, right at the bottom are a couple of posts about how to add photos.

Welcome amfm. Sounds great and can't wait till it hits the stands. Is there anyway we can buy a subscription for the mag to be sent out by post?

Wonder how many of the fellow forum members will eventually have their cars in your mag. Looks like soc123_au working buddy will kick off with an awesome XP. Seen it in the flesh and she is a beauty.

Very Excited but the missus won't be as there are already 100 mags next to the toilet.

Finally figured out how to use images thanks to that tip from 67 GTA.

Just to let you know about some of the content for Issue No. 1 of AM/FM – Golfer Aaron Baddeley’s Dad Ron (who coincidently used to be heavily involved with Mario Andretti racing) has built his son what some may term the Ultimate Driver – Main Cover Car.

We have many other awesome feature cars, coverage from MotorEx’s tenth birthday, Mustang Concourse from Adelaide, Sydney All Ford Day with over 1100 entrants and an Interview with Mr. FPV - Rod Barrett.

On the tech side of things we preview the new FPV Supecharged engine packages – (we can see a couple those finding new homes into early model Mustangs down the track) and we will cover the build process of our QIK 429 Project plus much much more!
