Hi im after a 9" 1310 series diff yoke that takes the smaller type universal if anyone has one for sale Cheers Eddie.

My old one is about 100mm Im going from 8" to 9" and will be  using the same tailshaft but the 9" is a bigger unit is there a shorter one

I think the shortest was about 4", but I have a few here that are longer.

Your old uni will be smaller than the 1310, have you got a new hybrid uni yet?

No i dont as the uni measurements of the 1310 uni was width 3.219" and bearing cap dia 1.0625 looked to measure up the same as my 8 " uni was under the impression they were the same but differ from the 1330 and the 1350

My 8" uni was skinnier than the 1310 uni. The 1310 is about 82mm wide, my 8" uni was about 3-4 mm less. The strap won't hold it well enough.

Whats the best solution do you know if there is a uni with 2 different cap sizes

You may be able to get a hybrid uni, you'd have to take the measurements to the Bearing shop.

I'd just get the tailshaft done, they can shorten it, change the rear yoke or whatever, or build you a proper one, with real size uni's front & back, and with real tube, not the cannaloni like the originals.

I think i will still need that shorter yoke anyway and then i can sort the tailshaft to suit you dont have the short one you said
