Seven Character Personalised Plates
« on: August 10, 2010, 08:03:15 pm »
I was talking to a staff member from Personalised Plates Queensland who advised me that seven character personalised plates will soon be offered for sale in a few weeks times possibly early September as they send an email advice to people to ask to be added to their email mailing news list. Don't bother asking for MUSTANG as it is long gone because I already asked.

$3295 each. What a ripoff! Three grand for a bit of tin.

do you think that will ever apply to other states?
It is a lot of money though...

I will think of it as a low yield investment...

what about:

CRUISER
LORIDER
ELEANOR
MACHONE
CLASSIC
VINTAGE

JIMNIKI hehehe

any others?

At the Brisbane Motor Show in 2008 the staff at PPQ told me that 7 character plates were going to be issued later that year. Being the owner of an F6, I said good I'll have TYPHOON. They took my name and said they'd be in touch ... I'm still waiting.

WA plates are cheap one off costs. can get MOCA 00 with the actual MOCA logo on a plate in standard colours (white background, with red, blue, black or green letters) for $150 + gst a set... once off.

i gotta get back onto this... i want to try and get cali black plate colours, which will be around $400 a set. looks much better than standard carp colours!
