I bought a set of Patriot Freedoms 185s for my 351W roller . Haven't put them on yet.

Look like a decent quality head and I paid not too much more than Procomps. Got them from eBay from a guy who brings in bits and pieces. Not well known but they look pretty good.

You should have bought some AFR 185s that were eBay on couple of weeks ago. The seller was from this board. Cant recall his username at the moment, but he is from Darwin. Posts pretty regularly.

Went for $2k. Brand new.

For a stroker you might want to go something bigger.

Cheers,
Frank.

185 would even be to small for a 351. The best heads available are the John Kaase cnc ported CHI heads. For the money they are the best in my opinion.

Yes it was olskool.

I would say 185s would be OK for a 351 up to about 400hp.

Well I am sure the ported CHI heads are great, but it depends on your budget. Too rich for me.

Cheers,
Frank.
