I think Moffat in his 69 Boss sold me.

Frank.

Same. I've had a few old/classic cars and at 48 I finally decided to cave in to my lust for the '69/'70 fastbacks. I've got a "bucket list" of cars.

Back in 1987 I bought a 70 Mach 1 at the age of 21. As can be seen by the picture, it was a golden age of unnecessary mullets and totally wild mum knitted jumpers.......good times, good times (sigh). Sold it in '94 to put a deposit on a house; a single tear rolls down my cheek every time I think of how stupid I was to part with it.......

Sold it with a set of 15" magnums on it. A bloke from Adelaide bought it, anyone here recognise it maybe??

Fell in love with Brandon Walsh's vert (along with his sister lol) in Beverly Hills 90210

Nearly bought a 70 vert when I was 23, but went for the family vehicle.

Finally got my 65 vert almost 12 months ago to the day, aged 12305 days. :hi:

Still 34.

69 fastback bought when I was 25 last year. I'm also surprised at the number of 20 something year olds who have bought, but more surprised at the sub 20 year olds! You'd be the coolest guys at school for sure

Thanks to everyone for contributing, it is very interesting to find out your story. As a few have said I am surprised and happy to see owners as young as mentioned.
The passion is something that stays forever and at times financial reasons knock on the door of selling it or delaying it for some of us but it is great to see such interest and passion.

cool pic !

If you're as bald as me - you'll wish you still had that mullet too !

All you young blokes , get back to your rice burners and chevy-badged V6 commodores and leave the Muzzys to us men folk.

Cheers,
Frank.
