center lens WITHOUT Clock adjust hole
« on: July 07, 2010, 09:53:19 am »
Where do I get a lens that does not have the clock adjusting hole that is between the gauges for a 67?

I am about to put in a tacho there and a new lens.

Thanks

I've only ever seen them with the hole for the clock adjuster and as a complete set of 5.
Cars without the clock had a little black insert covering the hole.

update;  found the lens only:

Unfortunately no image :banghead:   might be worth sending them an email to see if they have them without the hole.

I did find another site with them, but they were twice the price.

Haven't heard anything out of the ordinary with Cal-Mustang.

I looked at my suppliers, but they only have them with the hole. You can buy the single lens on it's own, they are about $11-$12, but it doesn't help you.

I would have gone the 6k on my old car - 2 barrel c code had no intention of going past 4.5k.
Not much point in having one half of the tacho collecting dust!
