You don't like your motor? I can't see any other reason to run Synthetic Oil, unless your sucked in by Brocky and his Mobil 1 rubbish?

You better fit a bigger battery, and a bigger alternator, to help offset the electric waterpump, which will make the gains of the underdrive kit, almost nil.

Make sure your aircleaner has plenty of room above it, or drive around with the bonnet up, so the Xtreme lid works.

Don't drive down dirt roads, or the K&N rock catcher will let the little rocks into your engine, where the bore wear will start losing compression, and power, so you'll need to buy an electric supercharger to make up for it (better make sure the alternator was stepped up).

MSD & Pertronic? Distributors aren't like Carbies, more isn't better (unless your talking Blown Alcohol Hemi's with twin plug heads, like Top Doorslammers). Most engines only have 1 distributor hole, and 1 plug per cylinder.

Windage tray is a good idea, when you start revving it up, over 6500 rpm, but any good sump (aftermarket) should have 1 built in.

Stubstack? We used 1 on our drag car years ago, sort of difficult to run with a aircleaner.

Otherwise, great idea!

They should work wonders.

wow.... how cool...yawn.

Wasn't there a different tyre pressure used for optimum performance with the polarizer??

Found it:

Brock began to consult health practitioner Eric Dowker. He gave up alcohol and cigarettes, and became a vegan.  Brock began publicly supporting and, eventually, began to fit to all Holden Dealer Team specials a device called the "Energy Polarizer" containing crystals and magnets that, it was claimed, improved the performance and handling of vehicles through "aligning the molecules".

The overwhelming majority of the Australian motoring community regarded the device as pseudoscience. Brock also recommended tyre pressures of 22psi (150kPa) for his polariser-equipped vehicles, a level which many regarded as near-dangerously low. Holden, fearing the consequences of being associated with the device and a resulting breakdown in communications over Brock's plans for new models, cut ties with Brock and set up an alternative racing/modification operation, Holden Special Vehicles.

Holden, fearing the consequences of being associated with the device and a resulting breakdown in communications over Brock's plans for new models, cut ties with Brock and set up an alternative racing/modification operation, Holden Special Vehicles. During this period, Brock also became involved in the importation and even the modification of the Lada Samara, a cheap Soviet-built hatchback a world away from the high-performance V8-powered Commodores he was famous for.

It bet the Lada could have been his lowest powered vehicle ever introduced.  No wonder Holden walked away.

Dr Dowkers Polarizer certainly polarized some previously strong relationships. From what I have heard it was all mirrors and smokescreen stuff.:smile01:

There were 5 horses missing from the top paddock, at that time, if ya know what I mean!

You may call it smoke and mirrors, but there are still plenty of people buying fuel ionisers, tablets for the fuel tank, electric superchargers, resistors for the map sensor, hi clones, and other crap, who are just as sucked in as he was.
Remember, this was the late 80's, he was untouchable, and believed it.
