Does anybody here have any 80's bmx parts or bike they want to get rid of?

I am doing a retro build on a 1985 mongoose expert.

Hey Echo we'll probably be chastised for this. :+ As a young teen many many years ago I could never afford the good s@$t. Motomags,Gold stems,3 piece" ALLOY " cranks etc etc.As an old fart now going on 43 I still can't afford it,especially with all these collectors driving prices up for 30 yr old parts. My bike of choice back then was the Madison.I still ride these days, u2u me if you want to talk some more

Ooops I forgot , if you're serious and have plenty of $$$, I have a friend who deals in old skool BMX stuff. Once showed me some NOS Roger da Costa stickers to go on a mint RdC frame and fork.Nickel plated of course.

I am serious about the rebuild but I dont have heaps of $$$.  I have the frame, mongoose chro-moly competition  forks, Red V bars............so the search is on for the rest.

On ebay at the moment I am watching a set of (genuine new ) Skyway tuff 2's in black.

my trusty ole ten speed

Ten speed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Farout.....I thought I was privilaged, and I had "back pedal brakes"
And that was better than the fixed wheel!
But my dream was 3 speed hub gears....woo now that was top of the heap...
