'Nats were very cool, my car performed well, did heaps of skids around the grounds, but never on the brake. It lights them up from standstill without the brakes, so easy.
Hopefully will be getting a 9" conversion done in the next week or 2, with a 4.11 LSD centre.
My brother put his VN Commodore on the dyno, hoping for 700hp at the wheels, but a broken pipe from the blower to the manifold dropped the boost, and it ran a best of 640hp... Not too bad I guess, it drove up from Melbourne on a tank of petrol, with fuel to spare.
There were quite a few nice Mustangs, pity the weather turned to sh1t on the Sunday, before I could check out the Club display. There was a VERY nice blue 65/66 in the Top 60 hall, VERY nicely modified, not much was left original, yet was so much better than stock. Hopefully there will be a write up in a Magazine soon, as it deserves to be known more.
