Hey All,

Pulled this of "coming events" on the MOCA Vic website

THE SHANNONS AMERCAN MOTORING SHOW - Members Car Park Flemington Racecourse, Flemington Rd, Flemington. This is the one we all wait for. A great day out. Gates open 8.30am.

Who's coming???

Planning to take the 67' Fastback to her first official outing.

Just like the Bayswater Claytons concourse, who's up for a "meeting spot" and a mini run to Flemington and we'll park along side when we get there?

I'm thinking a central meeting point like RED ROOSTER at the entrance of Westfield, Airport West Shopping Centre at around 7.45am - Leave at 8am sharp.

We'll head down Matthews avenue, right at Mt. Alexander Road, through Moonee ponds junction and into Ascot Vale Road, straight to Flemington.

Its not to far from there so I'm tipping we will be at the gates about 8.30, in line of course.

Whats everyone think? Too early, too late or OK?

Hoping to meet you guys there.
Not inclined to travel 1/2 way to Upper Kumbuckta West, just to get to Flemington.:+
They usually get most of the Mussies all together, if you don't rock up too late. Same goes for other makes.
Some mixed-make car clubs also have set areas.
It's a big show so get some comfy shoes on!;*

Hard to pick a general area to meet.

But this ones pretty close to the mark.

The Red Rooster at Airport West is only about 7 klms from Flemington.

Im gunna head up to this one with my mate Geoff in his 68 Coupe. Hopefully we can park amongst the Stangs. Anyone from the east side want to meet up and cruise in, IGALOP, how about meeting at Fountain Gate

Guys, don't forget to take plenty of pics. I haven't missed this event in years but this time I'm gonna pass it up. Too much work to do on the Mustang. Maybe I'll drive it there next year :a

Lineup so far,

Me, caretaker 65, A67PNY and 67Hardtop.

67 Fastback, 65 Fastback, 67 Coupe and a 67 convertable.'

67's winning so far - Anyone out there keen to challenge the numbers?????

We hope to be there, although not with the car, it will be in getting a few things done for the road worthy. ;]

We may be interested but tiring of the cleaning and polishing.

Now that we've landed back home we'll rest up and see.

Got to clean a few thousand grass hoppers off the underside bits. Looks disgusting.

Can't knock the new Car-bra tho.

Will cruise in via Ian's at Templestowe. Can pick u guys up along the way. Probably have a few in tow along the way.

Think it will be easier that we (Airport West) group met you at Flemington.
I suppose you may use the Eastern fwy to flemington. :(
