Title: ACT : Mustang memorabilia stolen
Post by: moe on April 11, 2009, 08:21:40 pm
A house was broken into in the Belconnen area last week, and a number of mustang memorabilia items were stolen.

Grateful if you could keep an eye out for a rare limited edition Ford 40th anniversary jacket, that had been framed.
The jacket had to be ordered and paid for at Nashville.
Pics of a similar jacket are included below.

If you see or know of it, can you please contact ACT Police, Mark at Capital Classics (02 6161 7669) or send me a U2U.

Thanks,

Michael

this whole theft thing is out of control at the moment ,i know of a couple of guys who have their pride and joys stolen one had a couple of really nice old holdens(he let me know cause we live in the same street and get along pretty well) stolen and the other had a later model commo nicked then the police tried to get him for fraud ..i dont think they really care as soon as they hear what type of car it is your a hoon if your my age or a thief yourself .Thats in my own experience with the boys in blue .:[
anyway i hope you get all the stuff back .

Moose I think you are a bit harsh and I am speaking from experience, the boys in blue do care, take it from a blue hoon.

I dunno:
when you get pulled over for a license check "because you looked young" - I'm 33!

when you get stopped with 2 cars in front of you - and the cop waves them on(!) to book you for speeding [how could I be going faster than the cars in front of me that also stopped because they thought they were 'done' ?]

or when the paddy wagon follows you off the main road at 2 am to give you a 'random' (I'll say!) breath test just because I'm in a mustang

it's a little hard to be full of praise for them
