Is there any interest in organising any convoys from different locations in Victoria for those making the trip to Ballarat for the Sunday only?

As the Deerpark bypass opens Sunday 5th & I know that the convey from Todd Rd Port Melb is leaving at 7.am , would Melton being a good meeting point for others coming from Northern Suburbs / Western Sub
I'm planning on leaving around 7.am from St Albans ( Western Surb )

I'll be in Ballarat from Wednesday finishing up loose ends, so can't organise much. Maybe a meeting point in the Sth East say Cranbourne Bunnings on the Sth Gippsland Hwy and another from around Ringwood way??? Any suggestions?????

Is there any point going up for the Saturday only ? From what I can tell there is the rally only and I assume you need to register for that. Can't make it Friday as I am working, nor Sunday as we do the family thing for Easter.

Not aware of any registration for Saturday's run to Daylesford not even sure what time they are planning on leaving to Daylesford.
Mr Igalop / Pete ... any ideas as I know you will be there on Friday ?
FMACHI - More then happy to meet you at Melton on Sunday morning at 7.30 am as I feel that this should put us approx 10 minutes ahead of the Todd Rd convoy leaving at 7.am

Saturdays run starts at 11 am SHARP at Nth Ballarat footy club, Creswick Rd. This is an observation cruise and free sausage sizzle.
Its advised that you have a passenger if possible, but maybe a few can ride together.

Saturday is really the only day I will be able to make it as we have a heap of stuff on that weekend. Yeah yeah I know it's the Mustang Nats......I told the damn cheese 'n' kisses over 6 months ago too.......:_ x 1,000,000

We can cruise down together if you like. But my Stang is not ready. Just a matter of finding out if anyone is around I suppose.

Sorry mate, family goes 4WD adventuring up in the high plains country every Easter, so the Stang is having a spell.

I will be around somewhere, who cares if you dont get all the questions right on the observation run:-, come and we will congregate and swill!:(
And if you cant make it at either saturday or sunday thats OK, you are a soft nob!

Yeh VP, we'll be there doing the observation trial and chewin on the barbie food and some coldies after, can you make the trial? Depending on when we leave, we'll get in either Thursday afternoon or Friday lunch time.

What kind of ride do u have??? I am in Greensborough too. U can always drop past my place or hook up somewhere local and take the cruise.
Meeting caretaker 65 along the way, probably somewhere near Melton I would assume.

Ash & I are driving up Saturday morning meeting possibly at Melton around 8.30 - 9.am
Then I will be going up again on Sunday morning.
Planning on leaving St.Albans around 7.am as the cars need to be on the city oval by 9.30am

There is a convoy leaving Sunday morning from Todd Rd service station in Port Melb at 7.am , I intend leaving similar time from St.Albans so will possibly meet up with these guy's along the Western Hwy.

Nephew's turning 18. I think my sister will have a barney if I don't turn up for his 18th!!
But keen for Sunday.
I have a 68 GT 390 Coupe.
Planning on leaving whenever it suits you guys to meet up along the way.
I'll give you a call a bit later tonight Ash to sort out where to meet and best time to meet up with Geoff along the way.

My bonnet has a 69' bonnet scoop and finding the missing front thin metal grill at the front of the scoop has been a battle.
I have a contact bringing in one for me but I think I may source a second just in case!!

Hey John was it you who called tonight?? My apologies if it was. I was at my casual job at Coles and can't answer the phone....:_
