Does anyone know the real reason our 5.0 engine is rated at 306 kW / 410 HP and the U.S. Version is 435 HP . Some say it's one of the exhaust manifolds ,but to loose 25 HP ,I don't think so  2015-2017 mustang GT .

Due to RHD layout the exhaust system is not as effective the originally designed LHD version.
-
Yes I thought it was something to do with the exhaust .
-
So if the AUS GT was fitted with the US headers then it should make 435 hp at fly wheel ??

If it was that simple Ford would have build the RHD version that way. I'm sure there are other issues.
It's easy to get an extra 40 HP out of the GT, ($6000-$7000)

David are you saying $6,000 -$7,000 for an extra 40 HP ,if so they can stick that  One more reason to leave mine stock . Also it will be interesting next Sunday at all Ford day (QLD) when I give mine a run down the 1/4 mile at Willowbank drag track . Full street trim with no traction :burnout: .

That includes a full drivetrain warrantee and tone adjustable exhaust plus lowering the car by 1.5", (as the new car warrantee would be effected by the mods).
