Anyone going to this tonight?

I'm likely to make it; if my boss doesn't ask me to work.

I guess it helps that their invitation is open to all, it's an 'All American' cruise though you do get the odd Aus. car turning up at each meet.

4 Feb it is bugger trying to put people together as a group on this forum to many negatives, its easier to join other clubs that talk to the talk and walk the walk

bugger trying to put people together as a group on this forum, too many negatives

That's a negative statement right there, lol.

I recall Birdman, Andrew and I went on a run via a forum post here asking who wanted to go for a bit of a spin so it is possible.

Like all events, they start off small and grow.  You have to make a start, keep it regular so people can plan for the next event and see how it goes.

Oh yeah, posting pics helps with the advertising; the pics in this thread has got you interested in going to their next meet, lol.

What's got me interested in this run is their commitment

This event has been going for years, it's not always the same faces and they have high and low turnouts too depending on the night. There's a reason why it's only on for half the year and they don't do January; they've worked this out from trial and error no doubt.

I would've thought many would jump at the chance I admit i was wrong

As they say, 'baby steps'.

HAK,

these runs are usually well supported by many club and non club members, also there are a few coffee and cars, Penrith and Kellyville, not to mention machines and mochiatos, again usually well supported by both club and non club members, the beauty and what I believe makes these a success, is they are not all day, and people can pick and choose what and when they go along, both this event and coffee and cars, are usually well represented with family members in tow,  these events have a broad range of vehicles and brands, so something for everyone, not just mustangs, some like car shows, others like drives, some like family events, some don't want to participate, whatever floats there boat, best thing is there is a great range of events for people to attend, yes not all run by MOCA, but a great range none the less.

Quite a few members have become good friends through meeting via this forum and attend events just to catch up with each other, it is a shame you feel this forum has too many negatives & other clubs being easier.

If you want to organize a regular catch up, best to pick a location and date, post it up on the forum, facebook etc and encourage people to come along, try not to just limit it to mustangs.

Hang in there buddy.

Cheers
Keith
