top loader switch to operate reverse lights?????

I have tried to find out how you get a signal from the top loader to the reverse lights. I cant find any switch both on the cars gear box or in the manuals I have. So how do you do it????

The reverse switch is mounted in the selector mechanism which is mounted to the hump.
