Hi Rohan how far off is the car now???

No shortcomings on the original other than the fact you have to direct pull the lever, rather than pulling a handle up like the floor mounted ones. Hev has a Nissan? one in his car, he says it works well.

This is the burning question G. It is still in Long Beach. They had another car to go in the container but it had no title,so i guess they cant ship it without one.So the wait goes on. Is that a custom cover?

So Kerry if I have no leaver now would you go factory style or floor mount if it was you???

Rohan the cover on my 65 is a custom cover for 65/66 Fastbacks.
All the mobs that specialise in those Mustangs sell them, I think mine was about $300usd and then I bought an anti theft wire cable and bag for the cover also for about another $50usd if I remember correctly. I guess if you were quick you could get one thrown into the car as shipped with it.

You could go either way, the original would be the easiest.

Rohan thanks for those email addresses

Kerry I was looking at the Lokar unit if I didnt buy a new factory unit. Cheers
I will cost them both up I know the Lokar was quite expensive just for the hand lever. I got quite a few things I need so might just get a local importer to throw the stuff into a container for me that should be quite cheap to get it to WA.

Just checked with Mark at capital classics and yes they have a pair of levers to suit your calipers.

I believe you only need the levers.

I tried the leavers and they fit nicely but now my brake line to the calipers is in the way so now the fun starts but aleast I dont have to make those leavers with that cog like pattern in them.
Thanks again for the help.
Cheers
