RRS Suspension.

Hi all,

I have rebuilt a 1965 Fastback Mustang and its taken me about 7 years to rebuild it. I have taken the vehicle to a local engineer to inspect the car and the engineer has found that both front hubs on the vehicle are not the same, with the O/S front brake calliper touching the lower track control arm and effecting the steering.

I have asked my engineer what he thinks the problem is and he is of the opinion that the x2 wheel hubs are different and since then I have taken it to someone else who can confirm that both hubs are different measurements.

The Kit I purchased around 7 years ago was the RRS suspension complete kit.

I am curious to know has anyone had the same problem as myself ?, even though I must state I bought the kit direct from RRS 7 years ago.

I would be must appreciated for any suggestions or inputs for the way forward as I am still waiting for a reply from RRS.

Hi UK MM
I purchased a fair bit of RRS front end and steering gear almost the same time ago.
Although not the same gear as yoursslf some of the parts i recieved were not correct or compatible. Ie: LCA's and struts.
I cannot complain about the quality of the components but the ensuing corrospondence and eventual exchange remedial actions on their behalf was a bit of a let down.....to say the least..
Hope they acknowledge and accept responsibility...
Good luck mate
