Did you guys watch the car auction at 782 motors on the Gold Coast last night ? . All three mustangs  sold and a buyer premium on top . ... A nice 65 fastback $97,000 - A very nice 66 fastback RHD Shelby tribute ,wait for it $212,000 then a ok 67  RHD fastback ,  S code $116,000 . Prices are crazy these days .

Thats some huge dollars for the 66, the 65 and 67 did very well aswell. :smash:

For sure Glenn and Bucks.....top dollars indeed....
It seems to me the buyers must have seriously done their research, as well as the cars being top notch restorations, which would closely equate to the dollars paid.
The 66 is a Classic Speed build [ Philippines] so again, I would say the fetched figure is reflective of the build cost, import, style etc.
The buyers must have also got wind that Mustang owners are the coolest people on earth  :grin: :pepper:

When you see some of the prices that people are asking for their Australian muscle cars I am not surprised that mustangs are also increasing in value. Some that have bought themselves a new Mustang are also now wanting a classic one as well.
