Bonnet rubbers

How the hell do you fit the bonnet rubbers 68 near the windscreen on the gard.
Tried heating (boiling water) rubber grease WD40 and bought needle nose angle pliers, still won’t go in.
Please help

Well, one way you could do it is, remove your front wheel, remove your splash shield if you have one. Grip your bonnet rubber from underneath with your pliers and pull down while moving your pliers left to right a bit as your pulling.

Many thanks for your replies.

Finally got them in, had to be a custom fit,
Timed 1-2mm of the edges, applied WD40,
Pushed from the top back and forth, they slipped in.

Thanks
