As no one responded to by question regarding to return to centre I will simplify the question
Has anyone replaced a idler arm their mustang (manual steer) and found the replacement or original idler to be tight to the extend where you can barely move it and it springs back to centre ?
does anyone remember laughter

That is a tortion type idler arm and it will have very little affect on helping the car return to center with electric steering. Electric steering also tends to cause a car to wander slightly, and I hate it.

the benefits of power steering outweighs the limitations, if I could get it to centre just a little better it would be perfect.
Does anyone know where I would get a torsion type bush, last one I bought was incorrect.
someone on ebay are selling Nos xp/xr falcon bushes any guess to them fitting?
