Quick shifter
« on: August 29, 2019, 08:41:35 am »
Hi there,
I have a 2017 GT tourer to which I’ve fitted a Harrop supercharger and a few other goodies. I now need to improve the gear shift.
I’m in the States at the moment and want to pick up a quick shifter while I’m here but am struggling to find info and reviews on what’s best from both value for money and installation difficulty perspective.
The Hurst with T-bar reverse lockout looks cool but possibly messy to install.
The Ford Performance is cheap but also messy install and smallest throw reduction.
The Steeda and Barton look more heavy duty but expensive and mixed reviews.
Has anyone installed a quick shifter they can recommend?
Thx so much!
Greg

I've installed an MGW shifter to my 2017.

MGW stands for Maryland Gun Works. Its built to that kind of precision too.

Works on mine no issues, I just have to learn how to shift better:)
