66 Barra conversion finished

Just finished my 66 Mustang Barra conversion thought id share some pics
All engeneered and registered

FG turbo engine
Tbre cams, arp head studs, race valve springs, billet oil pump gears

Gtx3584RS turbo on 6 boost manifold
Tunnel vision intake manifold

Custom drop in fuel cell
X2 walbro 460s
1650 motorsport injectors
E85 fuel
Haltech ecu and dash

C4 trans, all bells and whistles
Yella terra flex plate
4000 converter

9" trutrack diff, 31 spline billets
Mcdonald bros 4 link
Front and rear viking 2 way adjustable coilovers

12 month build, most completed by myself

P.S: The number plates just put the icing on cake for me. Awsome coincidence, right time right place.

How was the conversion? I remember you saying no cutting is needed when using the C4 trans.

How was the conversion? I remember you saying no cutting is needed when using the C4 trans.

Conversion was not easy as i did not want to cut towers or tunel everything has been customised around those areas to fit, e.g exhaust/ intake manifolds. Engine mounts and trans crossmember were modified and engine pushed forward to clear the c4 bellhousing.

The car went 11.01@ 119 with previous combo (v8) and it had 250rwkw

Ill take it down soon for some testing  :evilone:

Very nice work. I've never driven a BF or FG V8, but my daily drive is a chipped FG6ET - in my experience, what turbo's lack in sound, they make up for in shove  :omg:

Wow - sounds pretty tuff!

Loved the power curve on the Dyno, lots delivered REALLY early there, the experience of that would require a strong seat-back...
