66 electric fuel pump installation

Hi
Installing an electric Holley blue fuel pump part no 12-802-1 and regulator with no return 3/8
braided line on my 66 . I'm sure it's been done before but will I require a lift pump or surge
tank
Cheers Ed

BAC:
I'm sure you know the drill that these things are meant to be installed close as possible to the tank and no higher than the fuel outlet as they are 'push' rather than 'pull' pumps.

I have a similar setup on my '69 and it works OK with no return line or surge tank.  Fuel inlet to the pump is a few cm above the tank outlet but hasn't caused any issues.

Thanks heaps BAC
Sounds like I have mine plumbed up much the same
as yours , I've also installed an Earls 100 micron filter between the tank
and pump also a 40 micron between pump and carby and reg near the Carby as they recommend , now have wiring left

You'll also need some ear muffs

They threw in a set with the pump
