Have some photos of my car and wan't to add them but can"t work out how

Just had the same problem it won't let me send the photo,said file was too big

You'd be better off opening a www.photobucket.com account, if you can't host the pics on a website that you already have open. This site only allows very small picture files, which I also find too much trouble. If you host them on another site like photobucket, you can then post that link in your message box as you're typing and we can all click on it.

Yep, file size for an attached image is 150kb.  If we allowed larger file sizes we would blow the sites server space/quota out of the water.

Any basic photo software will allow you to compress your file size and still maintain a large image

See below.
First image is only 74k but still 1200x800 Original was 10,602k {10meg} (Click image to see larger view)
Second image is only 125k and 1600x1067 Original was 13,256k {13meg} (Click image to see larger view)

Yes, a site like photobucket will allow you to upload and store much larger file sizes which you can than embed to the forum using the image tags as shown here
