Herman is the man to ask about this, his Concours winning car has them in the correct locations.

I believe the search works, maybe you your using too many words in the search?

If you find out the details of where they go I will be interested to know as I need a set of those stickers as well. You don't happen to sell these sets do you Step?

If that's what it says, that's exactly where it goes.

Keep in mind low paid factory workers applied these stickers and wanted to do it as quick as possible so they could get onto the next car or hurry up for their lunch breaks, etc.

They didn't get out a ruler and measure, they just slapped them on quickly, sometimes a little crooked and you'll find some restorers putting on the stickers a little crooked for that authentic look..

At $5 an hour, you'd be one of those 'high society' sticker slappers.

Thanks dalex,
that was one neat car and I just ran out to look at my car and noticed the washer pump motor is not the same as well as the bolts on both sides of the shock towers seem to be reversed on his car (I think)

  Cheers John.

As you can see both pics showed the sticker in different positions on the shock tower.

One was straight and neat, the other was diagonal and full of air bubbles.  You can see which was delicately restored and which was slapped on haphazardly in the factory,.
