Post by: grabber on July 10, 2006, 08:30:27 pm
Almost   :f

I have found a couple of 390 engines and I need some help to identify them.

Q. How do I know they are 390's?

A. The gent selling them told me so.

I measure the dirty bore with calipers = around 4".

They are different to the 390 in my stang, they do not appear to have the raised 352 writing on the front of the block.

They are difficult to get at in the back of a shed under a bench. The only numbers I could find are as follows:

Engine 1 - & AZM12388 & (yes there is an & type symbol at either end. Also either of - B760C (the letter C is reversed) or CO97B (the letter B is reversed).

Engine 2 - & AZM11392 & (yes there is an & type symbol at either end. Also B02ZB.

Help me where you can please.
