Title: Engine Rebuild
Post by: scottdogs on July 07, 2006, 04:43:17 pm
Hi

I am need of some work doing on my newly purchased 66 coupe.

I use it as a daily driver so i am quite keen on getting the front brakes converted to Discs first up for safety... but I also would like to get the 289 redone as it has a few leaks and is looking a bit sad, so I thought i'd sneak it all in at once so the wife wouldn't notice it missing twice!!

Anyway, is anyone able to recommend a Sydney based company for the rebuild? I'm not looking to turn it into a street machine or anything, just to spec is what i'm after.

cheers.
scott.

G'day,
the only company i would trust with an engine rebuild is Orger Engines in Melbourne....

and then i would ask SPECIFICALLY for Lindsay Dyer.

IF you want a GOOD spec engine...it's gunna cost as much as a cheap hi-performance....really

cheers
Jas
