:{ new to your site, Im Mustang mad like many of you and wanted to know how much would be a reasonable price for a 428 SUPER cobra jet

428 scj cars are very rare, expect to pay between $50,000 usd to over $200,000 USD depending on Model.

However if your just keen on the donk and not an orginal R code car, try a restomod - I picked up mine for $20,000 and its in great condition. But it was ex Austin Tx

thanks skulls what about the motor alone definatley has to be a  R code

Skulls.....the car I am interested in has numbers matching, 1969, s roof, R code 428 scj with drag pack option and all the right gear in restored condition. What would top $$$$ be
